Non-Pressure Braking Resistors

JEVI designs and manufactures braking resistors for fresh water, sea water and other media.

Non-Pressure braking resistors are primarily used in the petrochemical industry on drilling ships, FPSOs, jack-ups and cable-laying ships where high power is required. Braking resistors can also be used to dump electrical braking energy from winches, top drives, propellers, cranes and other electrical systems.
